Henry Rubin is the founding partner of the firm. He graduated with a Diploma of Business Studies (Accounting). He is a Certified Practising Accountant and a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia. Henry began working independently since 1977, formed various partnerships through the years, culminating in the founding of Rubin Partners Pty Ltd in 1989.

Henry has a wealth of experience about the structure of business entities, property development and finance. He has guided clients from the inception of their ventures to large successful operations, and continues to advise them in their taxation and business matters day to day.
Henry believes implicitly in providing unparalleled service, and has dedicated his professional life to ensure that Rubin Partners is synonymous with this commitment.

Mark Shaw

Mark Shaw graduated with a Bachelor of Business Accounting. He is a Certified Practising Accountant , Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia, Member of the SMSF Association and has a Diploma in Financial Planning. After a few years in professional practice, Mark joined Rubin Partners and found his niche. He became a partner in 1993. Mark’s clients encompass a wide range of structures and entities. Mark specialises in all aspects of accounting with special expertise in advice on structures and taxation for both large and smaller groups.

Mark’s greatest strength is addressing his clients‘ requirements in their entirety, and providing the best and most tax efficient solution for all accounting matters. Mark oversees his clients’ taxation and business affairs competently and with an eye on all the various facets.

Mark is extremely personable and treats every client with the respect and care of a good and trusted friend.

Richard Shaw

Richard Shaw holds both Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and Bachelor of Computing (Information Systems) degrees. He is a Certified Practising Accountant, Member of the SMSF Association, Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia, and also has a Diploma in Financial Planning. Richard has been a partner in the practice since 2003, and provides expertise and service to a diverse range of clients encompassing different professions and classes of business.

In addition to his in depth knowledge of taxation and financial matters, Richard is the head of Rubin Partners‘ Self Managed Superannuation Department, and is extremely knowledgeable and able to offer expert guidance and direction in all Superannuation matters.

Richard is passionate about providing efficient and bespoke service to ensure the very best result for every client. He prides himself on his strong relationship with his clients, and with all these areas of proficiency, is in the unique position of being able to offer an all inclusive point of view to each client.

Wilson Zhou

Wilson is a Certified Practising Accountant, Member of the SMSF Association, Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia and holds a Diploma in Financial Planning. He has provided a broad range of services to the business section for more than 10 years. Wilson joined Rubin Partners in 2006, and became a partner in 2015.

As a qualified and trusted taxation advisor, Wilson specialises predominantly in providing tax consulting and structuring advice to family businesses, small to large size enterprises and private clients. He has extensive experience in business/tax structuring, restructuring, business sales or acquisitions, business valuations, due diligence, trust taxation strategies, and business succession planning.

He also provides professional advice to individuals and businesses regarding superannuation, retirement and estate planning
